How does the AI photo scanning work?
Take a photo of any model with your phone or upload existing images. Our AI vision system reads reporting marks, identifies the manufacturer, model, and prototype, then automatically populates your inventory. Most scans complete in under a minute.
Can I create separate inventories for different purposes?
Yes! You can organize your collection with custom categories, locations, and tags. Many users create separate views for "to sell," "to keep," or "gift to family." Family tier and above supports multiple organization members.
How do I print or export my inventory?
Export to Excel, PDF, or JMRI format with one click. Insurance reports include photos, valuations, and condition notes — ready to submit to your insurance company. Print individual items or your entire collection.
What scales and gauges are supported?
We support all popular scales: Z (1:220), N (1:160), TT (1:120), HO (1:87), OO (1:76), S (1:64), O (1:48), Standard Gauge (1:32), G (1:22.5), Live Steam, and even Prototype (1:1) for real railroad equipment. The AI identifies scale from photos when possible, or you can specify manually. Our database covers major manufacturers including Athearn, Atlas, Bachmann, Broadway Limited, Kato, Walthers, and many more.
