What's included in every paid plan?
Every paid plan unlocks all features: unlimited inventory items, unlimited AI scans, RailCommand™ layout control, CTC dispatching, prototypical signaling, drive-by-wire throttle, operations simulation, JMRI integration, full marketplace, valuations, insurance reports, API access, CSV import/export, and public galleries. Plans differ only by the number of users and plan-specific management pages (family, team, club, or museum).
How do I choose the right plan?
Pick your plan based on how many people share your collection. Solo hobbyist? Hobbyist plan. Family sharing? Family plan. Running a club with members? Club plan. It's that simple — every paid plan includes every feature.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes! You can upgrade at any time and your new plan takes effect immediately. When downgrading, your current plan stays active until the end of your billing period. Your data is always safe — we never delete anything when you change plans.
Is there a free plan?
Yes! Our Free plan is free forever — no credit card required. You get 100 inventory items, 25 AI scans per month, and access to social features and marketplace browsing. When you're ready for unlimited everything, upgrade to any paid plan.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes! The Hobbyist plan includes a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature — unlimited items, AI scans, operations, layout control, and more. A payment method is required to start the trial, but you won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime during the trial at no cost.
I'm switching from TrainController, JMRI, or iTrain. Which plan?
Start with the Hobbyist plan's 14-day free trial — it includes full RailCommand™ layout control, CTC dispatching, prototypical signaling, drive-by-wire throttle, JMRI integration, operations simulation, and every other feature. If you run a club or museum, check the Club or Museum plans for multi-member support. Your existing JMRI roster data can be imported.
What about annual billing?
Pay annually and save approximately 17% compared to monthly billing. Annual plans are billed once per year. You can switch between monthly and annual billing from your account settings at any time.
Can I export my data if I cancel?
Absolutely. You own your data. You can export your entire collection as CSV at any time, even on the Free plan. We also support GDPR data portability requests. Your data is never held hostage.
